Background Info

When Jessica and I decided to buy our first property, we knew the only way we could get the home we wanted in Southern California was to find a fixer upper. We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but we had no idea how daunting the task would become. Throughout our journey, we hit some major bumps in the road. We hired people who promised to guide us through the process, only to lead us down a rabbit hole and listened to “experts” that gave us bad advice. Fortunately, we were able to roll up our sleeves and turn our dream into a reality, with the help of Michael Drop and a group of talented craftsmen that helped execute our vision. When all the dust settled, Michael, Jessica and I knew we had something special working together as a team. No matter the scope of the job, we want our clients to know we are here to guide you through an experience that should be exciting, not scary. We look forward to sharing our story with you and most importantly, helping you create your own.

The founders

JESSICA HOLMES & ARIE SOLOMON

Arie and Jessica are married and reside in Studio City with their 5 year old son, Levi. Together they started Noble Build because like you, they
wanted to create a home that fit their lifestyle and their budget, but do it in a way that was honest and transparent. Noble Build was created with the thought that building a home should be exciting and rewarding not filled with worry and sleepless nights.

Jessica is a newscaster, TV cooking show host, lifestyle influencer and an experienced home cook. Her design philosophy combines form and function, creating spaces that feel warm, accessible, and impeccably styled. Her aesthetic and design has been recognized in publications
both locally and nationally.

Arie has a career in fashion, but realized his love for home and building when forced to take over his family’s home renovation project. He thought, why not do both and created Noble Build with his wife Jessica and his mentor, Michael Drop. Arie holds a BS in Finance, has over 20 years in international trade focused on the fashion industry, giving him a unique perspective to building, sourcing materials and supply chain relationships. Arie is a licensed contractor and loves to share his knowledge and experience with both new and veteran homeowners, while meeting and learning from a variety of artisans and craftsmen.

Michael drop

Mike or Uncle Mike as he’s known to many has building in his veins. Born into a family with multiple generations of craftsmen, Michael found his passion at an early age. At 16, he started painting cars which instilled in him this unrelenting pursuit for “the details” that to this day take his projects to the next level. A true student of the industry, Mike is a voracious reader and researcher of the latest in materials, techniques and trends in the industry. Mike has a rare combination of skills and over 40 years of experience, making him an expert in foundations as well as fine finish work details. Mike’s ability to envision the possibilities for a project and then make them a reality is truly a gift. His biggest joy is working with clients and turning their spaces into a place they call home.
